Joshua & Mikaela Robertson - It is also our 2 surnames together to form a dynamic team of hospitality professionals
About Josh & Mikaela
Josh has always had an affinity with food, he is one of those guys who has an innate sense for flavour and can create a restaurant quality meal from odd things in the pantry. He is passionate about food and it shows.

Josh also a self confessed nerd and used to work in IT. When he met Mikaela he ditched his profession to get back into the kitchen and the two fell in love whilst working together at a local accommodation business.
​
Mikaela has a background in hospitality, events and tourism. She is a qualified Event Manager and an experienced wedding planner. Amongst other things she actually ran away with a circus back in her mid 20's and this was where she first worked in a food van, selling dagwood dogs and chips.

​Our food van journey began back in 2015. Josh had become interested in smoked BBQ meats and food trucks were just becoming a thing here in Australia. Little did we know at the time that many others had the same idea. So instead of marketing ourselves as American BBQ only, we created our own menu inclusive of other street foods too and got to work looking for places to trade.
